[Gongdeok] Oroat Robata(오롯로바타), aesthetic & quality Kaisendon

Kaisendon of Oroat Robata at Gongdeok, Mapo-gu Truffle Menchi-Katsu of Oroat Robata at Gongdeok, Mapo-gu

Kaisendon of such a food aesthetic!

This place is basically a Japanese izakaya, but they serve beautiful donburi menus for lunch.
OMG, I couldn't resist going there immediately when I saw that kaisendon pics on IG.

The menu is called a Chirashi Kaisendon.
A variety of diced sashimi is put on rice, and topped with salmon roe adding some savory flavour and unique texture.

This Japanese dish satisfies not only your taste buds but also your eyes!

This is the entrance of Oroat Robata.

It's easy to find that it has a dark exterior distinct from other stores.

They were awarded from blue ribbon survey for 4 years in a row!
Blue ribbon survey is sort of a Korean food guide book like Michelin guide.

For lunch menu, there are donburi, soba and sides.

I ordered a Chirashi Kaisendon and a Truffle Menchi-katsu.
There were also dinner menus on other pages.

Oroat Robata has an open kitchen showing customers their cleanliness.
Clean kitchen and modern interior design are a total plus when choosing a restaurant.

Here's the Chirashi Kaisendon I ordered!!

Gosh that looks so good..

A variety of sashimi (raw fish) and salmon roe tastes really good together,
and sprinkled spring onion makes it look more delicious.

By the way, it is better not to mix the ingredients.

Just try to eat as it is, put the rice on the bottom and sashimi on the top of your spoon.
And add a little bit of wasabi on it.

If you want to add another taste, wrap them in the seaweed (gim in Korean).
When you get the bowl, I recommend to pour the soy sauce first so you don't have to dip your sashimi in soy sauce every time.

Truffle Menchi-katsu of Oroat Robata at Gongdeok, Mapo-gu Truffle Menchi-katsu of Oroat Robata at Gongdeok, Mapo-gu

This is a Truffle Menchi-katsu, stuffed with beef, cream cheese and truffle paste.
It has a very rich, creamy and heavy ingredients in it so it's a pretty good combination with kaisendon,
cause kaisendon has a lighter taste and texture compared to menchi-katsu.

Anyway this menchi-katsu was tasty as well.
